There is freedom in self-forgetfulness; the path to True Christian Joy, True freedom comes from knowing Christ.
If you are new to Christianity, why not read the Gospel of Mark and ask God to show you the truth about Jesus--particularly his death on the cross. If you know any Christians, perhaps you could ask them to talk to you about it.
You could use the words of Psalm 139 in prayer. Ask God to show you your heart.
Giving to others is one of the simplest ways to advance the Gospel--the Good News of God's salvation of all who believe. We believe the best way to be successful is to become part of the community to actively be involved in building the Kingdom of Jesus. As Jesus answered "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"
John 14:6
This is the best and most meaningful way of contributing to the great work we attempt to do as a Christian Reformed Churches of Australia member. Get in touch with any questions about how you can give of the time God has given you to be a blessing to others while today is still called today. We are blessed to be a blessing!

About us...
Our Purpose
Here at the Christian Reformed Church of South Gippsland, we wish to make Christ known; to play our part in sharing the Gospel of Jesus in this place and bringing others to hear the message of Christ crucified and resurrected to new life by which we may all come to a saving knowledge of Christ given to us by his Holy Spirit started by the seeds planted in hearts or mentoring them in the faith of our Saviour and Lord Jesus, as we understand life is not all about us.
Who said the golden rule in the Bible?
The "Golden Rule" was given by Jesus of Nazareth, who used it to summarize the Torah:
"Do to others what you want them to do to you." and "This is the meaning of the law of Moses and the teaching of the prophets" (Matthew 7:12 NCV, see also Luke 6:31).
We understand that everyone has a different view of our world which belongs to God and our God-given desire is to share our knowledge of our Saviour, as well as the Christian Worldview to better inform others of the way our awesome, faithful and loving Creator God wants us to live. We are not here on earth by accident and neither are you!
We would like all of our neighbours to know that their sins can be forgiven, that they have a purpose for living and a home in heaven especially, particularly because we are all sinners, not because of our sin but that we sin because we are all sinners in urgent need of God's forgiveness in this lifetime, which we are all in together in order to love each other and our Lord.
